Systems Security Engineer

Vacancy Introduction

We are recruiting for the new position of Security Systems Engineer for Co-op Secure Response services. In this role you will be responsible for implementing and servicing our surveillance equipment.

As an applicant for this role, you should be aware that you will be required to travel to remote locations and in some cases be expected to stay overnight. In this case expenses will be granted.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Service and maintenance of CCTV, Intruder and access control systems
  • Maintain safe working environment as lone working may be required
  • Following and adhering to RAMS at all times
  • Ability to read and follow electrical and building plans
  • Ability to respond out of hours according to business need

The Ideal Candidate

  • Possess a full UK driving licence
  • Knowledge in electrics
  • Pass a DBS & Security checks
  • Able to carry equipment up and down ladders and steps, i.e. detectors, cable and power tools
  • Possess the ability to use hand tool and power tools to repair and dismantle equipment
  • Be able to carry, lift and climb ladders
  • Able to carry equipment up and down ladders, i.e. detectors, cable and power tools
