Store Detective
Vacancy Introduction
We are looking for a self-motivated and professional Store Detective to join our team. As a Store Detective, you will be responsible for detecting incidents of external theft and internal dishonesty and anti-social behaviour at our branches. You will work predominantly alone but may also work as part of a team.
Role Responsibility
Key responsibilities of the role include responding to incidents of theft, actively seeking out external theft, investigating thefts by gathering evidence, and compiling written reports. You will also support the department with campaigns in Society branches and comply with Health & Safety as well as Data Protection legislation.
To succeed in this role, you should have punctuality, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You must be committed to delivering excellent service to all customers of our Co-op Secure Response Security Services and be able to react quickly and embrace change.
The Ideal Candidate
Desirable qualities for this role include experience and qualifications in loss prevention and knowledge of ASCONE. Applicants must hold a SIA DS & CCTV Licence and be available to work on a 5 on, 2 off rotas (including weekends) working 8-hour shifts.
