Marketing Manager

Vacancy Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our Customer and Member team. The successful candidate will be lead the planning and implementation of a wide range of integrated marketing projects which generate more value from our members and customers.

Role Responsibility

You will be responsible for planning and executing campaigns and marketing projects, devising creative solutions to business challenges, contributing to effective and efficient working processes, building close links with internal partners, and demonstrating success and reporting. You will report to the Marketing Lead and work closely with the Central Retail Operations, Customer and Member Insight, and Store Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute campaigns and marketing projects

  • Deliver marketing campaigns that contribute to the overall trade and brand marketing plan.
  • Establish clear campaign objectives (commercial, brand, and membership) and ensure member and customer insight is used effectively to improve planning and execution.

Devise creative solutions to business challenges

  • Propose new and innovative ways to reach customers and members that meet campaign objectives and present solutions to business challenges.
  • Use a full range of marketing and communications channels to deliver campaign objectives (print, post, OOH, digital, events, broadcast, PR).

Contribute to effective and efficient working processes

  • Implement agreed working processes with your team to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently.
  • Ensure campaign ideas are effectively communicated and documented to internal partners.
  • Maintain effective financial records to accurately monitor marketing expenditure.
  • Contribute to regular planning cycles and manage working processes with internal partners.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of how we work and develop effective ways of developing solutions to new challenges.

Build close links with internal partners.

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of retail commercial and operational performance and challenges and ensure this is shared with your team.
  • Ensure effective communication between your team and other departments to build close working partnership and mutual understanding.

Demonstrate success and reporting

  • Maintain agreed reporting documents to monitor and communicate campaign success.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Knowledge of marketing and consumer trends that are relevant to our established and developing business units.
  • Ability to devise new and creative solutions to business challenges.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively and build consensus.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management. Ability to build strong partnerships.
  • Resilient, positive, and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Full UK driving license
