Marketing Manager (Funeral)

Vacancy Introduction

The East of England Co-op is the largest independent retailer in East Anglia. It has a diverse portfolio of businesses, from food retail and funeral services to travel, events and conferencing and a growing security business. We are one of the largest private landowners in our region with over 700 properties. We are owned by over 280,000 members.
 
The Membership and Marketing department is responsible for developing and growing our membership and delivering marketing and communications initiatives which help our businesses to grow. 
 
This role is responsible for planning and implementation of a wide range of integrated marketing projects which help our businesses to succeed.

Role Responsibility

• Planning and development of integrated marketing campaigns which help deliver objectives for agreed business units.
 
• Establish and maintain productive internal working partnerships, primarily with Retail Department
 
• Build compelling marketing campaigns which deliver agreed objectives, supported by Brand and Studio team.
 
• Monitor campaign performance and monitor performance against objectives based on data gathered from Commercial, Data and Membership teams.

The Ideal Candidate

• Demonstrable experience in delivering integrated marketing and communications campaigns

• Knowledge of marketing and consumer trends which are relevant to our established and developing business units

• Ability to devise new and creative solutions to business challenges

• Commercial acumen 

• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively and build consensus

• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management. Ability to build strong partnerships

• Resilient, positive and solutions focused mindset

 • Full UK driving licence.
