Head of Acquisitions & Projects

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Acquisitions & Projects.

The Head of Acquisitions & Projects will play a crucial role in driving our growth ambitions, actively participating in our business at a senior level. With a clear focus on expanding our reach and maximising opportunities, you will closely collaborate with senior leadership to shape our future direction.

Role Responsibility

  • Lead the Acquisition & Projects Team, overseeing all aspects of property and business acquisitions, disposals, and development projects.
  • Drive strategic growth initiatives in alignment with the Society's vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and pursue opportunities for expansion and diversification.
  • Manage a substantial development pipeline, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on property transactions, leveraging your extensive experience and knowledge.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team, driving continuous improvement and performance excellence.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a Commercial Property/Transaction role.
  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
  • Extensive experience in negotiating with various stakeholders in all aspects of acquisition and development agreements for leases, leases, and occupational specifications.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking, business acumen, and delivering results.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Hold a current valid driving licence.
