Funeral Plan Sales Representative

Vacancy Introduction

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven field-based Sales Representative to proactively engage and interact with members of the public regarding funeral plans in a professional, sensitive and friendly manner. You will be managing a pop-up stand in high footfall areas across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, where you will be raising awareness of funeral plans, generating leads and passing them on to the appropriate branches.  

Role Responsibility

  • Own our schedule of funeral plan roadshows throughout the year, engaging with members of the public to generate conversation and interest in funeral plans.
  • Actively identify and generate sales leads through these conversations to engage potential clients who may wish to benefit from one of our FCA regulated funeral plans.
  • Ensure strict adherence to FCA regulations and internal compliance standards when engaging and interacting with potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of all client interactions whilst adhering to GDPR regulations.
  • Ensuring leads are shared with the appropriate funeral branches in a timely manner.
  • Consistent reporting of interactions, leads and conversion, to track success and identify focus for future roadshow activity.
  • Undergo training and assessment to ensure that individuals are compliant with current FCA regulations in regard to the selling of pre-paid funeral plans. 
  • Setting up a pop-up stand each day in a high-footfall area.
  • Ability to maintain a high energy whilst working alone throughout the week.
  • Responsible for the safe keeping and replenishment of all associated materials and devices.

Things you need to know

The successful applicant for this role must hold a valid UK driving licence.

This position requires you to engage in lone-working activities as an integral part of the field-based responsibilities. You should be aware that the nature of the role will involve working independently in various locations.

As this role includes FCA regulated activities, you will be required to undertake DBS checks as well as credit references.
