We’re getting ready to open the doors to our brand-new East of England Co-op store in Hellesdon, and we’re looking for friendly, community-minded people to join our team.
This is an exciting time to come on board as a Customer Service Assistant (Food Retail) helping us shape the opening of a modern, bright, energy-efficient store that’s set to become a real hub for the local community.
You’ll be joining a team proud to deliver great service every day, supporting your colleagues and customers as we bring our Co-op values to life in a brand-new environment. Whether you’re looking to gain retail experience or want to be part of something new in your local area, this is the perfect time to get involved.
These roles are offered on a 3-month fixed-term basis to support the store’s launch and busy opening period - giving you a chance to make an immediate impact and experience life in our newest Co-op location.

Available Shifts
- Monday 6pm to 10pm – 4 hours
- Tuesday 6pm to 10pm – 4 hours
- Wednesday 6pm to 10pm – 4 hours
- Thursday 6pm to 10pm – 4 hours
- Sunday 9.30am to 6pm – 8 hours
Over 18 roles
Due to the nature of the role and its requirements, applicants will need to be aged 18 years or over to apply for this position.
Our working patterns are non-contractual. Any advertised working pattern represents the normal working pattern for the role at time of advertisement and may be subject to change.
