Community Support Manager

Vacancy Introduction

We are looking for a Community Support Lead to join our Member and Customer team. You will be responsible for managing our community support programme, which includes managing funding for local good causes and helping our stores and branches build connections with the local community.

Role Responsibility

  • Maintain effective processes for managing funding for local good causes, including managing relationships with external funding partners.
  • Report on the impact of the funding provided to local communities.
  • Produce a framework and toolkit that enables branches and stores to build links and give funding to local communities.
  • Ensure effective communications with store and branch teams so they are aware of how they can support local communities.
  • Build a process for enabling stores and branches to give money directly to local good causes.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of fundraising or the management of charitable / not-for-profit funding - either in the corporate or charity sectors.
  • Experience with reporting impact of charitable or philanthropic giving.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships.
  • Resilient, positive and solutions-focused mindset.
