Administrator (Perfitts)
Vacancy Introduction
Reporting to the Office Manager, this role is responsible for varied administration tasks throughout the business. Encompassing the use of bespoke systems and manual methods, monitor, progress and act on administrative matters, prepare documentation for front line activity and consolidate completed work for future reference. Assist and be involved with any improvement in the administration functions as required.
Role Responsibility
- Carry out administrative tasks for both memorials and kitchen departments;
- Be fully proficient with departmental software systems;
- Maintain a good understanding of the kitchens and memorials administration process, to ensure consistency across the team;
- Prepare and manage departmental correspondence;
- Prepare front line documentation;
- Prepare outgoing mail;
- Welcome any visitors, ensuring their needs are catered for;
- Jointly manage incoming telephone calls maintaining a considerate approach;
- Assist with any client interaction on site as required – e.g. quoting process;
- Filing of documents both electronically and manually – maintain a consistent approach;
- Provide cover for other administrative tasks as required in times of holiday & sickness;
- Play an active part in continual improvement of the administrative process;
The Ideal Candidate
- Ability to work on own and as part of a team in a busy office environment;
- Administrative background;
- A positive and “can-do” attitude;
- A “hands-on” and practical approach to work;
- Excellent and empathetic communication skills, particularly by phone;
- Good IT skills (MS Word, Excel & database management experience).
- Understanding of stonemasonry services.

Working Hours
